I am looking for a nice skin smiting rod/wand/scepter for my male 600 smite monk

My equipment

Armor:
Obsidian Dyed black w/Chaos gloves

Off hand
tormented shield

What weapon would you recommend?

Tormented/frogger/vamp dragon sword?
Is there any other decent alternatives? I am going for looks only not practicality.

^ I was thinking about the wand but that is kinda a commmon thing. Frogger is nice but girlie. Give me a MAn weapon. I might just go for a Glacial blade since not many people have that

You cant equip the Glacial Blade with +20% enchant, which is kinda needed for most 600s AFAIK.

Not to be belligerent, but a "common thing" is a monk with FoW armor (Normally dyed black) and Chaos Gloves, honestly.

Proof
(Proof enough that it's a common thing; if you don't believe the video, go roam Kamadan/Lion's Arch for a short bit.)

Either way, I suggest Cerulean Edge, Emerald Edge, or Violet Edge. They're unique, and not many people have/use them - they look good.

True for 600s, not true for all 600-smiters.
(Depends on the zone. IE: Perma-SB, you'd be correct.)

Except that you can use suffix mods for /bonus weapons. All of them, except wands/offhands. I had an 11% charrslayer on my glacial back when I had a warrior in pre.

Well, based on your armor selection, you should just get a Voltaic Spear and dye it black... and get a Mask of Mo Zing and dye that black too. Skin is opinion based, so just browse wiki for the skins available with a req you like. When you find a skin you like, search the Sell forum, auction site, post a Buy topic and hit Spamadan.

someone else said an asuran sceptor i think i agree maybe mess with the dyes purple + red or yellow or something so it matches the shield.

An eternal blade would round it all off. don't think it'll go with the shield though. I think an old school fellblade would do the trick. dye it white :3

Seriously though, you 600 with a FoW set? what do you use for PvP? i always use crap armour in PvE. Why get the expensive armour if you're not going to show it off to anyone? ^^

If it has to be a wand ...
- Holy Rod, dyed black (will probably have to settle for 10/10 Divine Favor - crafter/collector ones aren't usually dyeable, and finding inherent ones with two decent mods for smiting could take a while.)
- Undead Scepter if you have the BMP
- Norn Scepter
- Koi Scepter dyed some mix with purple could go with your shield maybe (will take you a while to find one with decent stats - pretty sure they do not come inscribable.)
- Onyx Scepter
- Wooden or Silver Boar Scepter
- Platinum Wand could work (will have to settle for DF if you want inscribable.)
- I wouldn't think Wayward Wand's bluish orb thingy would look right with what you describe.

If you don't mind using one-handed martial weapons instead of a wand, the list of choices gets pretty long. Based on what you said you're trying to match, the following occur to me right off the bat ...
- Chaos Axe
- Undead Spear (requires BMP again)
- Brass Spear perhaps - that one usually looks good with black outfits.
- FDS or Fiery Gladius

Really, like others have said - it's up to you. If you're going for a skin you like looking at, cruise the galleries at wiki ( http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Categ...leries_by_type ) If you're just going for the biggest look-how-much-money-I-spent but not look-how-much-money-I-spent-to-make-my-monk-look-girly setup, then I guess the fastest, most easily acquired things would be stuff like obisidian edges, eternal blades or VS, etc.
